I will definitely vote for you as many times as I can! Great ideas. Some I have framed and the rest I have stuffed into large portfolios. A friend of mine takes pictures and saves them to her computer, but I guess I think I will want to take them out someday and actually hold them. Does that sound weird? I know I am going to be the mom bawling in the attic someday when my boys are all grown and gone. :/
Thanks, Kathy! And no, not weird at all. I feel terrible when I throw any of their art away. That’s what compelled me to do a little digging and come up with cool ideas. Before we know it, they’ll be grown and gone… (give me a second while I wipe the tears from my eyes… sigh). So, I wanted to find ways to hang onto their stuff. If it were up to my husband, he’d toss 90% of it.
I encourage my 4 year old to paint on the big pieces of paper at school so we can have “wrapping paper.” I love wrapping gifts in her art work. Otherwise, I usually have a hard time letting stuff go, so look for me on hoarders some day..
That’s so cool! I hadn’t thought of having them do their artwork on big paper. Cool! And I’ll be right there with ya on Hoarders!
