My now almost 8 year old used to suck on a blanket to sooth himself to sleep. Sounds strange, I know. But some kids suck their thumbs; some suck on pacifiers. Mine sucked on a blanket — ever since he was a baby. This, of course went on way longer than was recommended by our family dentist, but I don’t claim to be the perfect mom.
Anyhoo, D-Man’s little habit made it necessary for me to wash his blanket constantly. OMGosh! That is the perfect blanket!!! WHY oh WHY couldn’t they have had that when my C2 was a baby???? His blankie has definitely seen better days and it is barely hanging on by a thread……SIGH….
